Private vehicles continue to proliferate in Hong Kong, to the detriment of sustainable mobility, walkability and liveable streets

Transit Jam‘s first annual conference is open for submissions.

Researchers, corporates, tech firms, government officials, lawmakers, district councillors and NGOs are invited to present on smart mobility, road safety, sustainable transport and liveable streets in Hong Kong this September.

The theme is Rethinking “Vehicles First”: a new discourse on Hong Kong’s sustainable mobility, and will address the rapid growth in Hong Kong’s motor vehicle fleet from all angles.

Details of the call for papers, including submission instructions, can be found at transitjam.com/cfp. The deadline for submissions is 26 July 6pm HKT and the conference takes place on 17 September 2020, in Yau Ma Tei, Hong Kong.
