Police search for clues after a woman was found dead on the street in Tuen Mun this morning

A woolly hat and a bloodstain on a parked car have sparked a manhunt for the car owner, after a woman was found dead in the street in Tuen Mun this morning.

Police say a passerby called in a “person collapsed” outside a village house near San Wah Lane at 7:28 this morning. Emergency crews rushed to the scene and found Ms. Wong, 89, dead in the street. Investigation of the area showed Wong’s woolly hat and a bloodstain on a nearby car, leading police to try to track its owner.

The case has been reclassified as a fatal traffic accident, and police say the vehicle owner is still at large.

The vehicle displayed a large sticker for the Mark X Club, a local club primarily for modified and performance Toyota Mark X cars.
