POLICE CATCH TUEN MUN HIT-AND-RUN KILLER

The woman’s killer fled the scene but left his victim’s hat and blood on his car

Police have caught and arrested a driver who reportedly reversed over a woman in Tuen Mun this morning, after a manhunt lasting several hours.

Police say Mr Pang, 24, reversed into Ms Wong, 89, who was found dead in the street outside a village house at 7.28am. Pang then fled the scene but left clues, including bloodstains and the woman’s woollen hat, on his car.

Pang was caught in Tuen Mun several hours later and arrested for dangerous driving causing death, failing to stop after an accident and failing to report an accident. He is still being held, according to a police source.
