Separately, police say a driver with links to the deadly Sha Tin bus crash on Sunday afternoon turned herself into the authorities yesterday after dashcam footage showed her black saloon skipping a red light just ahead of the white Audi which caused the crash.

Police say they did not arrest the woman, but do not “exclude future actions against her”.

Meanwhile the Audi driver, who had been arrested for dangerous driving causing death after skipping a red light and ploughing into the side of a public light bus, was released on bail and must report back to police in mid-July.
